I’m Captain Cody Simmons. I grew up chasing fish across Texas — the spring-fed rivers around New Braunfels and the grass flats of the Coastal Bend. Guiding lets me share the places and the moments that hooked me in the first place.
My favorite way to fish is on foot. Wade fishing slows everything down — you read the water, feel the bottom change, and get tight to redfish and speckled trout in inches of water. When the bite wants live bait, we throw live bait. The goal is always the same: put you on fish and send you home with a story.
